Kokomo Jr Flyer #2

Here is another flyer for a Kokomo Junior show that took place a few weekends ago. Akzidenz Grotesk as always.

Cult of Luna-"Adrift" Imaginary Record Cover

I really like music and I like making things. I recently rediscovered this little gem of a song, "Adrift" from Cult of Luna's amazing 2005 album "Salvation". As most bands of the "Post-Metal" genre, CoL has a very spacey/aquatic sound. I thought the imagery suited the plodding/marching nature of the song; oh and obviously dead soldiers...because METAL.

Other musics: Delorean-Subiza, Warpaint-"Exquisite Corpse", Verse-"Aggression", Zola Jesus-"Stridulum Ep", Stars-"The Five Ghosts"

The Return of The International Office

Quite simply one of the most typographically precise and pristine design firms out there. They just updated their website and it is utterly gorgeous. Literally one of the most compelling and exciting design firms I have ever seen. Not to mention, Duncan of The Intl. Office actually collaborated with Kris Sowersby on the beautiful Founder's Grotesk Typeface.

In Celebration of Watain's "Lawless Darkness"...

I made a thing. Its a way overly photoshopped thing...but a thing no less. I realize now, that I have a thing with faces/heads in trees...someone tell me why that is, ok?

It's a cover or whatever for the song "Wolves Curse" which is a total SUMMER JAM.

COOL.

LACMA Item #2

As you folks know...I have been working on stuff for LACMA recently. It's been such a lovely, inspiring, and invigorating experience. This here is a flyer that is going to passed out all over town. I was heavily inspired by this beautiful piece by Jan Tschichold. It has always been a favorite of mine...and hopefully this flyer did him a bit of justice.

Web banners and other things coming soon!
